Projects developed with international architects.

As Cascatas_Vilamoura Hilton

The project for the Vilamoura Hilton (As Cascatas) was developed on an almost forgotten site, away from the sea where nothing had happened in almost 40 years. We worked alongside John Seifert and his team from start to finish. The development contains over 50,000m2 of construction and was completed just before the economics of the Algarve turned. 2003-8.

2005 Valverde_Quinta do Lago

In 2005, as the work on the "Cascatas" (Vilamoura Hilton) was stabilized, Imocom began to look for a follow-up project for Hilton. A site called Valverde appeared on the edge of Quinta do Lago and we worked on creating an old farm with John Seifert Architects. The project stalled and reappeared as the Conrad with other design teams. Here are some of the concept sketches.

Victoria Residences, Vilamoura

We developed this project in the Vilamoura XXI area for the André Jordan group with WATG. The construction was completed in 2008. The project won several international property awards, and was made a case study of Resort Development by the Urban Land Institute in 2013.

Parque Tecnologico de Mutela, Almada

This project from 1992-4 was worked up with Sture Johanssen about the same time as the ABB HQ. The project consists of offices, teaching areas and a building with about 15 bedrooms. A further set of 3 office towers was envisaged alongside the complex which have yet to be built.

La Residencia, Mallorca

We worked with Mike Scott of DSA Architects for several years in his projects for Orient Express. One of the properties is La Resiencia in Mallorca. They were desperate for extra accomodation and the steep terraced hill behind the resort was a key area where, together, we developed the initial ideas for the hillside guest rooms you see here. 2002 - 5
