A set of project designs which await further developments

Boutique Hotel, Alentejo

We designed this boutique hotel close to the village of Monsaraz during 2020. It consists of 15 guestrooms, public areas and extensive gardens. We are currently waiting for work to start on site.

Monte Gordo Hotel

The Câmara of Vila Real de Santo Antonio asked for projects and bids for this site in Monte Gordo for a new 4 star hotel. This was our submission.

Team work proposals with ILM from 2012.

Macau Casino

This preliminary design was sketched out in 2012 as the possibility of a casino hotel and resort was being investigated for Macau. The Marina Sands of Singapore was new and influential and we looks for a variation. In practice, many ideas were in play and we stopped at this point.

Conference Facilities for the Pousada in Porto

We struggled for about 3 years to licence this modest conference facility hidden behind the wall overlooking the Douro valley. 2009-2012.

Resort/Long Stay Residence, Dili, East Timor

Local partners recognized the market for hotel and long stay expat accommodation in Dili, which we looked to turn into an attractive environment in this very poor country. Project dates from 2011.

Standardized Hotel

With Soares da Costa we looked to make a standardized hotel with about 120 rooms which could be rapidly built in a number of regional cities in Equatorial Guiné, Angola and elsewhere in Africa. 2007-10

Redevelopment in Portimão

2020 proposals for a new project in Portimão, which will be submitted to the municipality soon.
